Oh mosquitos!!!!!

I do not understand why Mosquitos exist?? I hope they are a delicacy for birds or something. We were eaten alive by them in West Yellowstone something fierce. So much so that we decided to leave a day early and spend the night in Cody, WY tonite before making the trek to Mt. Rushmore tomorrow. I mean Sydney looks like she has the chicken pox on her face...she probably has 15 or so not to mention the other ones on her feet, hands, and back. Cody is so far bug free.


We are almost at the 1 week mark and so far I have experienced the following:
1). Very dry skin... Like so dry that wrinkles are showing up in places that were not there before.
2) the most beautiful scenery in Montana I have ever seen... Big sky country for sure.
3) two billboards advertising the testical festival somewhere in Idaho. Not sure what to make of that...it did have a buffalo as it's spokes-animal holding it's privates...Aaron wants to incorporate this somehow into the man-a-thon ...hmmmm
4) McKenna yelling "whoa" really loud when she saw old faithful erupt for the first time. Precious.
5). I am itchy and blotchy...
6) currently reading " the art of racing in the rain" ...haven't gotten far enough in it to tell you anything
7) can't keep track of all the toiletries which includes combs, calamine lotion, sunscreen, insect repellent, lotion, and allergy medicine...
8). Wal mart in Cody was great...
9) McKenna and syd telling me every 5 minutes what their mood is from their new mood necklaces. " mom, I am happy, no wait, I am stressed, oh but what now I am passionate!"
10). Baby buffalos are so cute...

Ok,that is my top ten list for tonite...
